COS Visalia Fall 2021 applicants

Hello, I didn’t see a forum for College of the sequoias applicant Pool for fall 2021. I wanted to start this one and see if we can keep each other sane during the waiting period. Good luck to everybody applying!

Hi! I'm applying for the LVN to RN too! The freaking TEAS wouldn't load for me so I had to spend 45 min on the phone with a representative! It was so stressful. I too got a 78% when I think I could have done much better! What can you do though, right! I hope we get in too! Did you also apply to West Hills?

No I didn’t learn about West hills until after the deadline unfortunately. I plan to apply to city in the fall will be my 2time in lottery for city lvn-RN I was in the lotto for the actual RN 4 times and didn’t get selected.

Is anyone else just waiting for a piece of mail to see whether they got in or not?

When I spoke with them they said they probably wouldn’t be sending out until April 1st

Hi,

It is my second time applying, this time I have experience as a CNA. I've applied to FCC and West hills.  I applied with about 75 pts. I am hoping I have a chance this year. I turned mine in person, they gave me a receipt. I wish us luck! Definitely will keep you updated if I receive anything. If I remember correctly,  we receive something in the mail right?

So does anyone know if there separate seats for LVNs or is it just a LVN-RN program or is it a combined RN with LVN to RN?

Anyone received a letter yet? I know it's still a little early, but last time I applied we received letters ahead of the expected date.

I talked to the nursing admin. They told me the point cut off last cohort was around 71 points and the this years may be higher because of increased applicant pool.

I got into SJVC so I will not be attending COS. I start march 30th! Good luck to all of you!

When did you talk to the nursing admim to know they had more apps this year? I applied with 69.5 so going to be close
