COS Visalia Fall 2021 applicants

Hello, I didn’t see a forum for College of the sequoias applicant Pool for fall 2021. I wanted to start this one and see if we can keep each other sane during the waiting period. Good luck to everybody applying!

Congratulations everyone! Any recommendations of somewhere in Visalia 2 step TBs done? I have an appointment with my doctors office but the soonest I could get in was the 30th.

You can get it done for free at the COS health center. You just need to prove you’re a registered student. I got all my shots I needed to get done there.

Good news alternative, I gave my seat. I'm glad COS is saving me a seat for Spring semester due to medical circumstances.

Hey all, I chimed in to this thread because I’m curious as to when everyone got their acceptance/denial letters. I applied for Spring of 22 & they said we will be notified by Oct 1. I just want to see how many people got their notices the day the school said you would. The anticipation is making me a nervous wreck. Thanks & hope everyone is surviving nursing school!

They told us we would be notified no later than April 1st and I received my denial letter on exactly that date. However I live a little bit further away. I know someone who lives in Visalia and she was accepted and she got her acceptance letter on March 31st.

Thank you @Brendaam21 have you applied anywhere else? What was your score when you applied to COS? I’m trying to figure out what my odds are of getting in, I calculated a total of 83.5.

Yes actually I had applied to COS, FCC and West Hills all together; and even though I was denied admission to COS, thankfully I got into Fresno City for Spring ‘22 semester. I think you have great odds. I only had about 71 points when I applied. I believe the lowest someone got accepted with was 74. Not 100% sure though. Best of luck!
