COS Visalia Fall 2021 applicants

Hello, I didn’t see a forum for College of the sequoias applicant Pool for fall 2021. I wanted to start this one and see if we can keep each other sane during the waiting period. Good luck to everybody applying!

Yay! glad someone opened a forum for this application period. I will be mailing in my application tomorrow. It seems like I may be cutting it close so I might try and drop it off at the post office. My total points this round is 69.2.

Yes I believe I applied to West Hills, FCC and COS. I am going to drive down to COS and turn it in directly. I’m going to try to ask some questions about status and point ranges while I’m there, I will keep you guys posted

Awesome! Good luck! We’re pretty close. There’s not very many people who have commented on here so I wonder if there’s many applicants this time around?

Hi everyone! I am applying with 74.8 points. If I get in, I’ll have to relocate, which I am not thrilled about.

I’ve been so anxious also! The waiting game is definitely nerve wrecking! How many points did you apply with?

Hi I just submitted my application as well! Now I can't remember how many points I had LOL I am going to double check but I also applied to West Hills and FC. I'm not too confident because I 2 repeats but at least I'm trying!

 

By any chance has anyone ever written a personal statement? I want to write one for West Hills because of my repeats and I need some help

Hi Julian I applied here also! well I'm working on the application right now. Do you mind if I ask did you apply with official or unofficial transcripts? I was confused because I saw "unofficial" on their website but "official" on their check off list

You can use unofficial if you completed all your classes at COS. If not then you need 2 official sealed envelopes of transcripts. Or if you sent them electronically from your school, you need to print out a confirmation email that says they sent along with unofficial transcripts.
