Cook Children's July 2019 Nurse Residency

Now that Allnurses is finally back up and running (?), I thought I would start a board for those of us applying to the July 2019 cohort at Cook Children's Medical Center in Fort Worth, Texas! I haven't sent in my application yet as I am finalizing my application but I thought this would be a great place to ask questions and exchange information.

Anyone have any updates?

Unfortunately, no. However, since they're holding interviews the week of March 4th, I would think that they should be calling/emailing this week to schedule interviews. Let's keep our fingers crossed!

Noone that I know has been contacted either (I looked at the thread from the 2018 summer cohort and they didn't get any calls until the 21st of February) Good luck everyone!!!

I read the threads for the past 2 summer cohorts and it looks like they call on Wednesday of what would be this week. Good luck everyone!

Update! They are calling today. Haven't received a call personally, but two of my friends have that have applied for the critical care track! Good luck:)

I just got my call! I have an in person interview for the critical care track!

Do they ask interview questions over the phone? Congrats by the way?

No interview type questions! The only question they asked was what day/time would be good for the interview!

Not sure. Everyone that I know has only heard from critical care. I applied for the medical surgical track. If anyone has additional information, let us know:)
