Now that Allnurses is finally back up and running (?), I thought I would start a board for those of us applying to the July 2019 cohort at Cook Children's Medical Center in Fort Worth, Texas! I haven't sent in my application yet as I am finalizing my application but I thought this would be a great place to ask questions and exchange information.

I interviewed last Friday for critical care. Has anyone heard anything yet?

I was offered a med-surg position yesterday and accepted! Also heard from a friend that she was offered critical care!

has anyone received a rejection? I didn't feel stellar about my interview and I haven't gotten a call so I'm assuming I'll get a rejection email at some point but I thought I would get one today. Has anybody?

I haven’t heard anything. I have no clue if they send a rejection email but I’m just assuming I didn’t get it since they haven’t called. Congrats to everyone who got an offer!!

Hi all! I’m new to this page but I was accepted into the med-surg track on Monday! I’m going to be moving from the San Antonio area and I’m so excited to get to know others who’ve been accepted! Does anyone know if there is going to be a Facebook page or group for us to get to know each other? Congrats to all!

I applied and interviewed for the critical care track and just got my rejection email. Congrats to those who got offers!!

@Katpal13 - I haven't seen a FB page yet. I'm not sure what cohort we are. Congrats on the acceptance! I got into the periop track. Hope to see you sometime!

Hi Kat! Did you do a video interview? I’m also from out of town, and am doing a video interview and was wondering if you had any helpful tips! ? (Even though months have passed, Congrats on getting an offer!! ?)
