Cook Children's GN Residency Feb 2015 Cohort

Hey y'all I'm getting ready to apply for the Cook Children's GN residency for the February 2015 cohort and I was hoping to get some advice or really just people to talk to about the process :)

I'm almost done with my essay but I'm still "perfecting" it because I'm a terrible essay writer.

The next few days will go by soo slow!

How positive are you about Thursday? The nurse resident who gave me a tour said she heard the Monday after her interview.

Hey guys! I'm in the same boat as you all, waiting to hear..I'm thinking taylor00 is right about Thursday, because nearly half of my graduating class had interviews at Cook and no one has heard anything. I feel like at least 1 or 2 people would have heard something if they actually made calls yesterday or today. I will keep you posted and y'all do the same! :) best of luck!

I haven't heard yet. :( Did your friend say if they are calling tomorrow too? It's already 5:30

I'm not sure :/ I would think they would call everyone the same day but idk.

I still haven't heard either! Hopefully they will be making more calls tomorrow!

I guess today was the first day of phone calls and in the past they called on two days? So I am sure we'll be getting some answers tomorrow too!

Maybe they called a few of the strongest applicants last night and will decide on and call the rest today or tomorrow. It also may be that different people are assigned to call those that are accepted,and they are each doing it on their own time as their schedules allow.
