Hey y'all I'm getting ready to apply for the Cook Children's GN residency for the February 2015 cohort and I was hoping to get some advice or really just people to talk to about the process :)
I'm almost done with my essay but I'm still "perfecting" it because I'm a terrible essay writer.

Hey LizzMarsh!! I'm finishing up application for the Feb Cohort as well. Do you know anything about the selection process or how they choose applicants?

I finished up my application last week! I am nervous! I really want this job. I am curious how many spots are open and how many people they take.
I've heard that they do 75 interviews and take anywhere from 15-25 residents! Have y'all heard anything about the interview process? some people have said that it's really intimidating!
I wonder how many applicants they receive. In the DFW area are the December graduating classes usually smaller than May graduating classes? And in what way is the interview process intimidating?
I have heard that it is a panel interview and the number of people in the room varies (my friend had 5 people asking questions in hers). Apparently there is also a case study portion of the interview.
Well then yea that can definitely be intimidating . Do you know anything about how they choose applicants? And where did you/do you go to nursing school at?
I graduate from UT Arlington in December! What about you?? I don't really know how they choose people :/
I graduate from the University of Missouri in December. But they probably utilize a point system based on the interview, gpa, essay, etc.
Just sent in all my stuff! Good luck y'all! :)
