Hey y'all I'm getting ready to apply for the Cook Children's GN residency for the February 2015 cohort and I was hoping to get some advice or really just people to talk to about the process :)

I'm almost done with my essay but I'm still "perfecting" it because I'm a terrible essay writer.

nothing yet :( I jump every time my phone goes off! This will be a long week haha

Does anyone know their starting rate? I'm going to have to make a budget and know what apartments I can afford, IF I get the job!

I received a call from the hospital but it did not say what it was regarding when they left a message. I called the number back and it was for the nurse residency program. Not sure if that means they are scheduling an interview? I heard the interview process is very intense.

I got an interview too! I'm flying out for it! What have you heard about the interview process? What do you mean by intense?! This will be my first nursing interview and I am way nervous.

Thats awesome congrats!! I've heard its intimidating just because its a panel interview and they supposedly ask really challenging questions
