congratulations! Maybe it will be me some day....first I need to survive my insane A&P teacher and his impossible final on Tues. If he doesn't give me an A I'll reconsider and go for a BAchelor's in education.... there is not so much BS in that!

Just to let you know, I did the same thing when I withdrew from NS in 2002. I went for my BA in education. I wanted to teach Biology (of all things!). There is just as much BS in education, that's why I decided to not get the degree. I took about 5 courses and got all A's (which doesn't transfer to my nursing GPA, of course!). It would have taken me about 3 more years to complete. A dear friend of mine was teaching her 1st year, in Kindergarden. She had just returned to work from having her 2nd baby. A few weeks later it was, once again, time for her almost 2 year old to have a "routine" heart surgery. She asked to have a week (or 2?) off while he had the surgery and recovered. The school district told her no. She quit on the spot. Her son died a few days after surgery, due to complications. They had to take him off life support. Sad, sad, sad. Needless to say, that was the last class I took in education.
