ok so i am currently taking classes for ADN program and well the deadline for the nursing school was january 31, 2009, but i still lack 3 or 4 classes so i can apply for nursing school. But applications open until september 15, 2009, so i can start in the fall of 2010. But do you think it would be a good idea to apply for the LVN program meanwhile, (applications opened april 1, 2009, to start in spring 2010) while i wait for the RN applications to open up???? i only lack 1 class for LVN. ANY SUGGESTIONS???? OR WHAT DO I DO???AM CONFUSED....

Unless you really want to get the LVN license, I would just go with completing your remaining requirements and applying to the RN program. That way you will avoid having to decide whether to quit the LVN program to enter the RN program. Or you can make a conscious choice to get the LVN license, then apply to the RN program. The advantages to this are that you can work as an LVN and you can enter LVN to RN programs, usually an easier move to make. Think about it, decide, then go with your choice. Good luck to you.
