Concorde in Jacksonville?

I tried to do a search and there doesnt seem to be anyone that has gone to the nursing program at Concorde in Jacksonville. I was accepted into their Spetember class with the option of starting later this month if sopts become available. I know there are Concordes in other cities but Im sure that every city has different experiences. Any comments, good or bad, would be appreciated.

did u take the nat at fccj? maybe u should try and see how your points look like after that, deadline if june 1

thanks moreninha , i took the nat last week and i didn't do that great. my percentile grade for academic aptitiude was 85%, reading comp 87%, and then on natural sciences, i don't know what happened,i thought i was more prepared for that than the rest and i only got a 40, my mouth hit the floor. so, without micro, i have 165 points. i had kinda figured there was no point to apply with that. but, you are right you never know. good luck to you and thank you so much for answering my questions. one more question is the net similar to the nat?? who knows maybe we will be in class together!!!:yeah:

I think that the NET is only reading and math

Hey did u look into chamberlain nursing school, it's new in Jacksonville and the accreditation is the same as FCCJ

Hi all,

The Net is more than just reading and math. But most schools or the just the school I took it for only looked at the reading and math. Also Chamberlin only offers a BSN program. I checked. Hopes this helps

I go in the morning to meet Linda at concorde and take the general test, I am not sure how I feel about this. I am worried, I just don't know if this is the best place to go to nursing school.

Pray about it (if you are a religious person) If it was meant for you to be there then you will do great, if not then God won't let you go there. If it was meant to be then he will lead you in the right direction. (Sorry if you are not the religious type.) I have been there for their LPN program. Personally I have nothing positive to say about the school but I have heard alot of people have left so things may have gotten better. I am not going to discourage you because of my experience.

Well, take the test. This test is good for one year, so it gives you enough time to look into other places.

Thanks , guys. I just don't want to make the wrong choice. I have worked really hard on all my pre-req's and I don't want to screw it up. I am and have prayed about this., Thank you for saying that, because I faith that God will lead me down the right path.( I needed to be reminded of that again!) Hey,Well I went to Concorde today and I really liked it. I liked how nice everyone was. I took the General test and made a 26 , so they said that was good, but I would have to say the test is a little weird, I really don't know how it judges me on what program I should go into, but whatever. I have the Net scheduled for Tues. I will see how that goes. She gave me a website to study, so I will try a brush up on some stuff before I go take it. I am not crazy about the cost, some of which will not be applied because I have taken most of my pre-req's. So a lot of thought will have to go into this , if I pass the Net. I am going to pray and if this is where God wants me this is where he will put me! How is everyone else doing??
