Hello everyone! This thread is for folks applying to Columbia's MDE/DNP program for 2024! Good luck :)!
londonflo said:Listed below are the estimated costs (USD) for the first year of the program. The University applies a conservative and modest estimate of indirect expenses, based on average costs. Direct costs include tuition, university fees, and health insurance. Indirect costs include food and housing, books and supplies, transportation, and personal expenses.
Projected increases in tuition are determined by the Board of Trustees of Columbia University in June. Billed expenses are subject to change without prior notice. Changes to a student's program or course load may result in additional tuition charges and fees.
Tuition*: $95,964
University Fees: $3,133
Health Insurance: $5,600
If, If I was a troll, I would NOT post current information on the website. Nor troll again 3 years LATER. Cited numbers are what are currently posted on their website...... YOU Take a look.

regarding overpriced education for many will have upside down when paid for an entry level in the job I am so proud of. I worked at the same position of those from Vanderbilt, Mt Holyoake, University of U of I, AND have an MSN with and additional 45 post graduate credits.
Take this as you may.

I don't think anyone was referring to you- the troll comment was in reference to someone saying that they received a status update (which yup agree- def a troll). I'm also not sure what you're trying to say, but coming into an admissions forum where we are all anxiously waiting to receive decisions from a school we have already applied for and basically insinuating that it's a waste of money is kind of...strange to me? I'm sure we are all well aware of the price tag and all have our own motivations for choosing Columbia despite that. So thanks for your opinion, I guess- I just don't think this is the appropriate platform for it.

^^ I agree!
Thank you @CNAMA1234 and @em613 LOL I appreciate you guys. Yes @londonflowas not referring to you, I was referring to the person who wrote "status update". You need to read before you react.
@FutureNurseJess123 I believe it's more along the lines of 200-300 applicants and ~40 MDE students accepted? Even less for Post-BS DNP students, maybe ~20 -- though I heard they may increase the Post-BS cohort this yr. Not exact on the #s
