Hello everyone! This thread is for folks applying to Columbia's MDE/DNP program for 2024! Good luck :)!
@FutureNurseJess123 saw that 659 students enrolled on the website too. I think that's the # of students currently enrolled in the whole program: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd yr students combined.
Also on their site is, "class size" (pic attached). You think that's the # of students accepted per cohort or the # of students in a classroom?
Hey y'all,
Just an FYI- I received an email from Columbia at 6:52 PST tonight titled "Columbia Nursing: Scholarship Process Changes.” Nothing about admission decisions or anything, just an informative email about different types of financial aid packages (need v merit) and FASFA delays etc. I'm sure y'all also received this message, yes?

I will say actually, I found these two sentences particularly notable: “…accepted applicants awarded a need-based scholarship will be notified with their admissions decision.... Recipients of the merit scholarship will be notified with their admissions decision.” I trust that this may just be funky wording and I am misinterpreting it, but there seems to be an implication that admitted students who do *not* receive neither a merit nor need based scholarship will *not* be notified of their "admissions decision.” Thoughts on this? Can anyone provide clarification? I am going to just trust that all decisions will be released soon (both admissions and financial aid awards)!

That makes sense, that's probably where I got the 200 from. I did read on the website that as of Sept 2023 there are 659 students enrolled between the MDE, DNP, and PHD programs.
