Hello everyone! This thread is for folks applying to Columbia's MDE/DNP program for 2024! Good luck :)!

I get more and more nervous by the minute and start to doubt myself. This delay is unhealthy for my mental health! Hahahaha

MDE/DNP ppl- did anyone else get an email that PLAN decisions were out and to check the portal...but then no decision in the portal?

That's weird. I thought you guys got your merit scholarship in the acceptance email? it's usually 40k for the MDE/DNP program. They didn't include scholarships in the original email they sent over 2 weeks ago?

It is a separate scholarship that had a different application. When we submitted our applications for the MDE/DNP program, we were all automatically qualified for the funds we were granted in our decision letters. They used info from nursingcas about our need based situations whereas the PLAN scholarship was a separate app (through Columbia still) that came out in December! I believe everyone who applied received an email with instructions to submit an essay and then it was due around a week later or so
