Published

Hello everyone! This thread is for folks applying to Columbia's MDE/DNP program for 2024! Good luck :)!

I also got rejected. I'd love to hear from anyone who was accepted for post BSN-DNP, congrats if you were!

OMG! Thanks for the heads up and so sorry to hear! However, that is an impressive list of schools you've been accepted to and I'm so glad you have many to choose from!

I was accepted into the Post-BS FNP-DNP, and thank God bc CUSON is the only school I applied to!! Which one are you leaning towards?

Not gonna lie, these student loans will be steep and I'm crazy selfish for wanting it! But also so grateful for the opportunity and super excited to embark on this journey!

I was accepted! Congratulations to everyone! ?

Congrats ? I am glad it worked out. Did they at least offer you a scholarship?

@FutureDNPAGPC $40k merit scholarship. How's the tuition at Hopkins? Is it comparable to Columbia?

Well that's good at least they gave you something ? always helps. Tuition is basically the same. I'm currently at Johns Hopkins finishing up my MSN-RN and will be bridging directly into their Adult/Gero DNP program. I'm from NYC so it would have been nice to come back but I'll be back soon enough. Maybe the rents will be better by then too. Haha.

Congratulations Everyone! I got in Columbia DNP Adult-Gero Acute Care and Johns Hopkins. I has accepted Hopkins already but now I am so undecided. Anyone else in a similar situation? I would love to connect with some of you!

I was accepted as well!  I'll be in the psych/mental health program.  Anyone else in that program? Would love to connect!  Congratulations to all! ?

I am accepted to the Post-BSN DNP-FNP program! Congrats to all to made it. Excited to embark on this journey with you all.

Does anyone know any online statistics course I can quickly take before orientation?? Would be huge help. Thank you in advance!

I've created a FB group for the post-BS DNP students. Will send out the link later today! At work now

Are you guys going to continue working while at Columbia? Not sure if I should go part-time or per diem. I heard the first semester is rough.

I'm contemplating the same thing. I may work per diem just because I don't want to pile on a lot obligations during that first semester.
