So I didn't comment on this board at all. But I will say this. As nurses who hopefully are already in the profession or going into the profession for patient care, it should be our hope that all programs despite the different schools, but all programs are on par in order to ensure that we are all trained exceptionally well because at the end of the day when you're working everyone will be from different schools right. It is my hope that the person I'm teaming with to bring the best care to patients is capable and that I am also capable so we can work well together efficiently. It seems like you're happy about Columbia's ratings and you came on this board specifically for those interested in Columbia to gloat, this is why someone can assume that in the root of your happiness of facts you mentioned, you come off bitter. Let's practice unity now so when we all get into our respective places of employment (if you are not already there) we can go with a mindset of unity because we want all nurses to win right? Because if we all are winning that means our patients will get the best, and isn't that what it's all about? I wish you all well, wherever you are going! I wish you an amazing academic year guys, it was hard but if some were accepted that's where you belong and if some of us were rejected that means it was a redirection to where we do belong. I pray we all succeed and that our programs trains us well for the rigors and expectations of the field. I pray we become amazing, compassionate nurses that changes the game of healthcare in our society. I hope we all win, congratulations everyone. Much luv!

If facts are to be stated you would see that Columbia is unranked all together. It just seems like your rejection is still a sore spot and I hope you can find a way to get over that. I say that as someone who also got into Hopkins, Yale, Columbia and most of the top programs. Clearly we are all intelligent. No need to be happy for anyone's downfall. Weird energy

"I don't see how you can hate from outside of the club...You can't even get in!” - Chris Brown

LOL ... Here I am just providing updates on factual numbers about the recent 2024 program rankings... Columbias nursing program has dropped in rankings (drastically).

FACT...

I am providing legitimate & factual information... and I get received with being accused of being bitter, angry, having weird energy and responded to with a chris brown quote...Considering this...  I am starting to understand why I got rejected LOL  🤯

Hello All!

Firstly-Congrats everyone on starting their doctorate journeys at CUSON!

I am on this thread pretty late, but I was accepted as a Post BSN FNP student 27' Cohort, although I will be following the lateral program plan as I completed the MDE program back in 2017. Anyone else accepted for the FNP program (or other programs as some of our courses connect) that would like to connect? 🙂 I also currently teach at CUSON as a clinical instructor, so if folks had questions about the school (or the area, I am a Washington Heights/NYC native) I might be able to answer some of those! Was thinking maybe even doing a pre-meet before school starts! Let me know who's interested!
