Columbia University ETP 2011

Thought it'd be a good idea to start a thread for prospective applicants to Columbia's ETP program starting Summer 2011. I was going to apply last year but passed on it in favor of working for another year.

Applications are due November 15, 2010! Right around the corner ...

Anyone else preparing for this also?

Hi Nikki! If last year's thread is any indication, we've got another month before notifications are sent. Ugh!

I've already heard back from UCSF (denied) and Johns Hopkins (accepted!).

Besides columbia...nyu, pace, stony accelerated, and currently working on my app to college of new rochelle...

what others have you applied to?

I only applied to UCSF, JHU and Columbia. I had a backup plan of Samuel Merritt, Thomas Jefferson Univ, and MGH.

What specialty are you considering? I applied to peds, but I have to admit that I waffle between peds and FNP.

cartwheel - right now i work at a peds office, so i dont personally like peds as much...but im just looking at acute care for the time being...

congrats on hopkins, that's amazing! what a great school! i just wasn't a fan of how their program was formatted, but i've heard great things.

Got antsy and emailed. Here's the reply: "We do not have a day. We are working to finalize the class and will be publishing decisions in the upcoming weeks." - Jose

Ahhhh I hope we hear this week I am dyingggg to know! I think an email we received before said we would have the decisions by the first week in February! Here's hoping we know sooner rather than later :yelclap:
