Hi AN fellows!

I know it is super early to start such a thread but I was hopping to connect with potential applicants/classmates for Columbia SON MDE 2018 program!

If you are applying to Columbia SON for summer 2018, let's share our experiences, ideas, thoughts and such!

Looking forward to hearing from some of you!

Admissions may be waiting for Financial Aid to complete their process, since I was told by Financial Aid that when you're admitted, you receive your financial aid package the same day :/

I think this is kind of nice, actually! I got into BC and have no idea what their financial aid package looks like... so therefore have no idea if it's realistic or not!

Yup! And then there are other schools, like Penn, who want to make sure you can fork over 200k before admitting you -.-

Just curious if anyone received an additional email about successful review on the financial aid application?

I believe if you were taken off the waitlist that someone would actually call you and tell you that you've made a spot for the cohort. I remember checking the forum from the year before. So I think they will call you anywhere from after the deposit for the first accepted round of students to either the first day of orientation or first day of classes. They ultimately didn't accept me but hoping they do this year! I'm not sure how many people were waitlisted but when I emailed them after being waitlisted they said they can't give me a number but I'm sure we were ranked and they would pick however many people needed to cover the slot from the top of the list! Hope that helps :)

I applied to NYU and Pace last year and Seton Hall and Rutgers this year1

I didn't know this! I thought we have to wait a week or so..

No I did not receive one, I was thinking since we are so close to getting our decisions, they may just be busy with getting everything finalized.

Nope. But I reached out and was told by Jose that my application was complete.
