I know it is super early to start such a thread but I was hopping to connect with potential applicants/classmates for Columbia SON MDE 2018 program!

Hi everyone,

I'm wondering if anyone knows what the second summer (i.e. last semester) of the program is like? My understanding is that in the spring we'd do our integrations with classes held online, then for the second summer, the presentation said 'class dates and times vary'. Any insight you have is appreciated. I'm an over-planner and am just curious as to what that summer entails :) Thank you!

My application got checked off, but I haven't received an email yet. Has anyone encountered this too?

@Mma22664 Mine hasn't gotten checked off yet. They must be reviewing your application now because in the general email that was sent they said the GRE will get checked off once your application is reviewed, not before. Do you remember what day you sent your application in?

I believe 9/30! I think they probably are working through hundreds of applications...

Oh way before me lol. I just wanted to make sure they are going in order. I didn't submit until 10/01 so by next week mine should be checked off...hopefully. And yeah we probably won't receive an email about updates being that there are so many applications.

I got a check for my GRE marked as waive and I submitted my application on 10/1.

So I'm starting to get a little worried and am wondering if I should reach out to them. I submitted my application 9/17 and haven't heard anything. Is anyone else going through this?
