Columbia Post-BSN DNP ( June 2021)

Hey guys! Thought I'd start a thread for Columbia DNP hopefuls. I applied for the June 2021 cycle for the AG-ACNP specialty. Would love to hear from others while waiting for decisions!

I looked at the sample curriculum and we’ll be having 5 classes in the first Summer semester. I have a friend currently 1 year in the AGACNP BS-DNP route and she said full time is manageable for Summer semester but 2nd and 3rd semester might be tougher to manage full time work and full time school.

That’s good to know that the Summer schedule is manageable! That’s a relief honestly, I was dreading it a bit.  Any other tips that can be shared?  Look forward to seeing everyone, we are all in for an interesting journey that’s for sure.

I'm personally applying for per diem positions in the city now (I live in NYC but am currently out of state for a travel assignment), that way I can work as much or as little as I need to since I'm not sure what to expect!

I don't have a facebook, but I'm excited to meet you all! I'm putting down my seat deposit for AG-ACNP today!

Hi, I'm a current MDE-DNP student at CUSON. Would you, or someone else who received a merit scholarship, be willing to share how much that is for? 
Some of us who are in MDE now and continuing straight into DNP this fall asked the school about more $$$ and they told us that they are not offering merit scholarships for MDE to DNP students, so I would love to hear more about this! Thank you and congrats to those accepted!
