Columbia MDE 2022

Published

I know the application hasn't opened yet, but wondering if there was anyone else thinking of applying to Columbia MDE/DNP programs for June 2022 entry?

OMG I GOT IN! and I was right that it was Feb 2nd, just saying haha

So grateful! Psychiatric specialty here.

Can't wait to meet you all!

OMG, I got in for MDE/DNP midwifery program. I'm so happy! Congrats to everyone! To those who did not get in, I personally know the feeling. Keep your head up. Any school will be lucky to have you!

I got in as well! Only to the MDE! Hoping some financial aid comes my way!

Congratulations to all that got in! And to those who did not, I genuinely believe something great is coming your way!

Hi everybody! I can't believe I'm saying this, but I got accepted into MDE!  Anybody who is feeling disappointed and being hard on themselves, even somebody on here just stalking the page, please don't be. You will go to the school you are meant to go to. Congrats to everybody!

It was the Seamless scholarship mentioned in my admissions letter.

How much is that scholarship if you don't me asking?

Feel free to DM me; Emory had a non-disclosure policy, and I'm not sure if Columbia does too, but I'm happy to talk off the forums

I got into the MDE/DNP program for PMNHP speciality! Looking forward to connect with you all ? Is someone making a facebook page?

I am also in for MDE/DNP for PMHNP!

Hi guys, so happy for all of you! Congrats ? and to everyone who didn't get accepted, please don't give up. I believe in y'all, keep trying ?

I was waitlisted but wondering if it's because I didn't update my application with my stats grade. That was my last prerequisite. For some reason, I thought we were going to get an email prompting us where to upload it, but I didn't. Anyway, I just sent it to them. Praying I hear good news!

I got into the MDE/DNP program for FNP. OMG congrats everyone!! Can’t wait to meet all of you!

I got into the MDE/PMHNP program, so shocked and excited!! Does anyone know in total how long the program would be?

The MDE is 15 months (4 semesters I think?) The DNP is 2.5 years. I'm unsure whether there's any opportunity to transfer MDE credits to the DNP and shorten that DNP time, though. I know other schools offer that, usually like a fifth of the DNP length or so if you did your MSN through the school in question as well.

Congratulations! On behalf of Columbia University School of Nursing, I am pleased to offer you admission to the Masters Direct Entry (MDE)/Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program with a specialty of Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.

Besttttttt news !! Congrats everyone
