  1. I got into the MDE/DNP program for FNP. OMG congrats everyone!! Can’t wait to meet all of you!
  2. Same here! I'm still holding off and waiting on two more schools before I make the final decision
  3. They say the final decision from CCNE will be made in Spring 2022, so if anything, we'll know by the time we start in May? (hopefully)
  4. OMG that’s definately a complex one ?. I had “what is your favorite holiday and why.” The fact that we only had 10 minutes caused so much anxiety. I barely got a paragraph done.
  5. Just got my acceptance today ?
  6. I got in too! Is the scholarship a different email?
  7. Yea, checked that on my phone and laptop, no updates at all. I thought I might have missed the deadline or something, but I submitted everything way before Dec 1st. I’m probably going to give them a call/email on Monday. Thanks for the suggestions/tips!
  8. Congrats to everyone who got accepted! But, has anyone not seen an update on OPUS or the application portal? ?
  9. Hi!! I also applied to U of R for May 2022, but for their AMPNN program. I graduated May 2021 majoring bio. I've worked as a CNA, medical scribe, and research assistant. I interviewed with them mid-December and have not heard anything from them since. I'm honestly getting nervous considering it's been 6-8 weeks after applications deadlines already.
  10. I graduated undergrad May 2021 with cGPA of 3.4~ish, sGPA was around the same, if not a tad bit lower. I have mostly As in my pre-reqs with 2 B+s. I have experience working as a CNA, medical scribe, and research assistant. I've also volunteered at my local hospital throughout all of my undergrad until COVID. My background is def your typical pre-health applicant resume :'). When I asked her about the application process/timeline, she did mention that not everyone will get an interview.
  11. The interview was actually quite conversational and not formal at all. They genuinely want to get to know you better as an applicant. As for the questions- since I'm taking a gap year right now, she asked what I was doing, why nursing, why NP over MD/PA, what I enjoyed about my clinical experiences, and what I plan to do with my nursing career. Definitely, be prepared with questions to ask the interviewer at the end !! It was a 30-minute interview, but her questions only lasted maybe 15 to 20-ish minutes at most.
  12. I applied for FNP. I submitted my application on 11/26 and it was verified on 12/1. She also did mention that they're reviewing applications based on when it was verified!
  13. Hi! I just finished my interview for the program today and the interviewer said they are sending out interview requests in batches. She also mentioned that the admissions are rolling and that students will have 2-3 weeks after getting accepted to make a deposit. Hope this info helps a little!
  14. Thought I'll update here- I got my confirmation a few days ago as well!! Wishing everyone luck :') it sure is a long wait till Feb! (I'm from NYC as well! )
