  1. Yes, I believe a lot of people in my cohort actually were and I was as well (a pretty good chunk of change in fact, which I would not have been able to go to the school without). It may be this way though because my cohort is the smallest they have ever had (started out at 32 people, down to 26; most we lost in the first couple weeks).
  2. Good luck you guys! I will say, I believe I got my acceptance a few days after they said they would go out as well. I did end up going to this program and am currently in my third and final semester. If you guys choose to go to U of R and ever have any questions, feel free to reach out :)
  3. I actually grew up near Rochester but am currently finishing the last semester of my first bachelors at the University of Maryland! so this school was my first choice since I will be able to live at home! the main campus is beautiful and the nursing school is super close which is nice.
  4. yes! I actually also got my acceptance earlier this week. I am going to accept the offer of admission later this week I think! what about you?
  5. I also got accepted! Has anyone else tried to submit their $150 tuition deposit yet or know how long we have to do that? Just tried to and kept getting a weird "your payment cannot be accepted at this time" message.
  6. me too! literally 30 mins before another ABSN interview I have ahhhhh
  7. University of Rochester and University at Buffalo! I found out I got an interview at U of R for this Friday, which is my top choice so I'm a bit nervous but feeling good that I'm still in the running!
  8. Hey guys, anyone applying to U of R's ABPNN May 2022 cohort? I haven't seen anyone post about it yet, so I figured I would start it. U of R is my top choice as I am from the upstate New York area, but I also applied to UB and Stony Brook. Here are my completed pre-req grades: A&P I: A+, A&P II: A+, statistics: A-. I am currently taking nutrition and will be taking growth & development next semester. I am also a senior public health major right now, graduating this Spring, and I have worked in a nursing home as a geri-aide for the past year. Not direct healthcare experience, but I learned a lot there! Good luck to anyone else applying, would love to chat more and get to know you guys! ?
  9. Hey everyone, good luck on applications! I also applied to Stony Brook, alongside UB and U of R, and will maybe apply to some programs with fall starts if I don't hear back from any of them before fall program deadlines. I am from upstate New York, so UB and U of R are definitely my top picks, but Stony Brook seems like a good program too! I am currently a senior at the University of Maryland, graduating in the Spring. Anyone know if they will take AP exam scores/what kind of class will count for English Composition? I AP'ED out for my current degree's English 101 requirement with a 4 on AP Lang and then took a writing course two semesters ago called Professional Writing for Health Professions. I'm hoping one of these will count LOL
  10. I also applied! I have a 3.9 GPA and have worked as a geri-aide at a nursing home for the past year (which was like a weird cross section between activities and basic nursing LOL). wow a 4.0 in pre-reqs? that is fantastic! good luck everyone!
