They told me it's need-based (specifically, based on the FAFSA's EFC).

Hey guys did anyone check out the preregistration health requirements? Does anyone know if the Hep B vaccine must be finished by the start of the program? I know it takes time and I won't have it completed by the time this program starts. Thanks for your help!

Does anyone know if you can submit a previous background check from Certified Profile to Columbia? I just recently paid $92 for another school and was wondering if I can just use that one to satisfy their needs.

I think it's about a month? They notify in February, have an accepted students day sometime in March, so I think the deadline is probably a month after the day they release decisions. I have to haggle with another school for an extension on their decision deadline. Hopefully all of the rest of my decisions come out around the same time so I won't have to beg that admissions office a second time

What other school are you haggling with? If you don't mind me asking. I'm going to try reaching MGH IHP to see if they'll give me an extension on the decision because they want their deposit right before Accepted Students Day at Columbia, and I haven't had a chance to go to Columbia and see anyone in person. I really would like to at least have that chance before I make a final decision. I'm so torn!

Rochester is killing me. They informed me on Tuesday, and want my deposit by next Friday. It's not a cheap deposit, either. I'm not super stressed about MGH since I don't expect I'll pick them. I went to their info session last spring, so I'm probably going to skip the one on the 28th. I found a CPR class nearby on the same day, I'm gonna do that instead.

Im waiting to hear from Yale before I put down any more deposits. I just started my online A&P 2 so I can distract myself during the waiting period. And that way I'll be good to go with Columbia if I get bad news from Yale.

UGH! I don't even want to go to work until I figure this out. I just want to lay on a beach somewhere else (not here in Boston, hell no!) so I can just meditate and think for a whole week!

OMG that sounds absolutely wonderful right now!!!! All I can do is a dream though. The lease in our current apartment ends April 1st, so I need to choose a school ASAP because that determines where we'll have to apt hunt, and if it involves driving down to NJ I'll have to spend a few weekends doing that. Everything is happening so fast!!

Also, is anyone else kind of worried about how to make sure they get all this equipment/uniforms ordered by March 20th? (especially out of staters)?
