Has anyone started a thread yet? The application is due in 174 days and as you can see I'm already obsessing.

Anyone else?!

I want to think "by next week" means this week... But i took that as meaning sometime next week. No!

I don't think I can wait another week. I'm barely holding on this week :nailbiting:

Specializes in Adult Gerontology Primary Care NP.

Current ETPer here! I justwanted to wish you guys luck!!

Maybe they're just playing with us and want us to be pleasantly surprised. I really do need to know before the 15th because I'll need to get vacation days for visiting day in March. Fingers crossed

Omg they said next week í ½í¸«í ½í¸« I hope that means Friday or even Thursday lol.. It's killing me as well. Good luck to us all ❤️

Haha, I'm pretty next week means next week...at least they're not behind schedule at least! But I guess maybe they will get done earlier?

Hey! You may not know the answer, so ZERO pressure... but are most of the applicants accepted prior nursing students (or those who have volunteered in their field in the past?) / I'm doing a 180 in careers - going from 8 years in Finance to applying to this nursing program, and I was curious if anyone else in your cohert had a similar transition. Or whether most are younger, graduate students... You are so super sweet to wish us luck, btw!

I started out in the legal field, court room deputy for 3.5 years then went on to be a medical assistant for 4 years now.. There's an NP i work with who graduated with a business degree and worked finance for a few years.. she got accepted and graduated from Columbia so it's fair to say you have a good shot!

When will we find out!?!? The question just drives me nuts! I wish there was a date to look forward to.. Minutes to count down to..

GradSchoolMeg - you are such a sweetheart. I don't think my chances are strong, but what a thoughtful note to wake up to!! You just made a stranger's day :)

so does anyone think its going to be Friday, or really next week? I guess we'll find out tomorrow.

I graduated with a a Business degree in '02 and have been working in research for the past 5 yrs. So i am on the same boat, I actually had to do all the sciences courses these past 3 yrs because i had ZERO science classes under my undergrad degree. I am also hopeful to get in, no worries, a lot of people are having career changes later in life because we are more mature and actually know what our passion is life really is. i worked with a guy who did a MPH and was contemplating PHD or MD, he was afraid to apply to MD at 35, but he did and got in. He is now a second yr med student.
