Has anyone started a thread yet? The application is due in 174 days and as you can see I'm already obsessing.

Anyone else?!

Yeah I feel like since no one has a nursing background in this program with the exception of maybe getting your CNA certification which I did happen to have but besides that everyone has a pretty good chance. I don't think its biased towards anyone with a specific background or age.

I believe these programs like applicants who have a clear interest in the profession. Even if you have no healthcare experience but can speak to your history and goals in your statement I imagine that's just as good as healthcare experience!

There is not a single nurse in ETP, because it is for people with non-nursing backgrounds. There are a lot of people who are straight out of undergrad or have been out for a year or two. We also have people who have worked for up to 10 years in other fields. My cohort is extremely diverse, in terms of backgrounds and age. We have people who were psych majors, musicians, actors, doulas, premed/bioscience majors, paramedics, english majors, respiratory therapists, and so on. it's a great program, so I feel fortunate to be a part of it - debt aside, LOL!... Again, good luck! I remember what it was like to wait - not fun! Try to stay busy and let the email be a surprise!!!

The school of nursing website says that the decisions will be posted on our application pages and that we will receive an email when the decisions are posted :)

Is the note on where we will see our application NEW? I don't see anything :-(

So for Vanderbilt they sent an email saying "there's been an update to your application, click here" and you log into your application. Then there was a link to the letter they later mailed to me.

So from reading last years post decision letters were posted to the application site.

Can anyone pretty please call the admisson office and beg ( you don't need to give your name! )

I would, but I've stalked them for the last 3 months and they know my voice. A "soon" would mean today - or that's what it meant last year
