Feb 12th is the DEPOSIT deadline? o_O That is so early!

I don't think so I think snoozyd meant for another school! Otherwise we'd probably have heard back by now.

FAFSA deadline is the 15th. What is the link to info about deposits?

There is no link about deposits. I think once people are accepted, they get a separate email with all that info. I believe from previous threads it's around March though.

Oh shoot the FASFA deadline is Feb 15th for Columbia?

I already did FAFSA last week! I haven't done this in a while though. If we put the names of the schools in the form, we should be OK right?

Wait they didn't even notify us!??!?!

No but now I'm thinking they will release decisions before the 15th and will send another email with info about fafsa and deposit

Yes, exactly! That would be wild if Columbia wanted our deposit before even admitting us. I'm trying to save my pennies for when the big tuition payment comes for a school, and avoid putting deposits down for schools that aren't my top choice.
