Columbia ETP 2010

Published

Hey Y'all!

I'm getting ready to apply to the Columbia's ETP for 2010. I was just wondering who else was applying and what you were doing to make your application stronger! Also where else are you applying and what do your stats look like (GPA, GRE, experience, etc) ? I'm getting nervous as I start the whole application process and just thought I'd turn to the forums for some support and guidance!

I'm looking forward to sharing the journey with y'all! Hope to hear from you soon! :)

Hi:

I did not get in ether. I am not upset at all and I know that they age discriminated me again. M attorney is advising me to appeal the decision and file a Age discrimination case against the university. I am a very happy and I will now pursue a PhD or EdD .

I wish all of you the best of luck it is a good School but very prejudice.

hey there, unfortunately i got waitlisted...although i'm surprised i even got on the wait list! it made my day, to be honest. i was expecting a rejection - these nursing programs are being very selective this year. anyway, does anyone know how many people they usually put on the list? like do people even have a shot at getting in from it? this is my second wait list and its driving me crazy! also, has anyone been waitlisted the first time around, and then accepted after resubmitting their app the next year? it said that they would review your app again next year, if you didn't get in from the waiting list this year. any help/insight would be much appreciated :) and congrats to everyone that got in!! i've heard this is an awesome program!

Hi catchababy, I sent you a PM!

Brit,

I think the waitlist is an excellent place to be. Many people don't accept the offer, especially at Columbia, because of the cost. I was waitlisted at two schools last year and got accepted into both. I decided to wait a year so I could save some cash...Congrats!
