Just curious, has anyone heard back about interviews yet? I got an email saying my application passed initial review, but nothing further.
Hi renardeau, thanks for your response. I think it may be for the better; at least you know where you stand. I truly believe you are the winner by going into DNP CRNA program at Georgetown. 2.5 years vs. 3? time wise, money wise, outcome wise? I'd say only DNP! I think Columbia knows they are vulnerable in this. You'll be glad you didn't waste 2.5 years at Columbia just to find yourself on the market for school again, just upon graduation, as you are going to compete with CRNA doctors! Also, imaging the fuss, working as CRNA and studying again! It will take you years and years to complete your DNP if you are planning to work after CRNA school and study part-time, which most people do. Plus, you will be paying another expensive tuition for grad school and an existing loan! Do your DNP now and be done with it for life! Don't spend another decade on school bench; rather spend the rest of your time with family and friends enjoying CRNA salary. Good luck!

Same here. Was iffy about attending the program, but couldn't pass up the opportunity to interview.
