Just curious, has anyone heard back about interviews yet? I got an email saying my application passed initial review, but nothing further.
I took an online course once I got accepted. It wasn't too bad, finished in 3 months. I took statistics like 8 years ago so it had been awhile. It was a good refresher to get back in the mentality of studying.
How did they notify you that you had to retake statistics?
And did they give you any suggestions for how to go about it?
I didn't realize that I had to retake it until I was applying to the program. I emailed them and asked about it and was told I must retake it prior to starting.
I ended up doing it through UC Berkeley Extension. It was not that hard and pretty straight forward.
BTW, I am trying to figure out my living situation for this coming year. What are you doing for housing? Im trying to decide if its worth it to move closer to campus or stay in my apt in Brooklyn and commute over an hour every day.
They did offer you to take an exam through excelsior online because you already have taken a statistics course but it was greater than 5 years old?
Living arrangements wise, I think you should commute during the summer semester and see how you feel afterwards. Summer semester is usually less intense than the semesters to come.

Did you have to retake the entire course? Or take an exam?
Did you take statistics before?
