Columbia BSN/MSN ETP 2014

Published

I was surprised that there didn't seem to be a thread for this year's applicants to Columbia's ETP program. So I thought I would start one. The information session was today, but I wasn't able to go. :( I was hoping someone else went and would be able to post any admission statistics or tips for the personal statement they gave.

Actually, that is a very good point. I am sure they receive quite a few applications that are not complete. Keeping my fingers crossed.XXXX

Today we will know! Just sending that out into the universe...it needs to be today to save me deposit money at my back up school. I'm pulling for everyone here to get the news they need and to stay sane until they do!

Today is the day I feel it

Best of luck to you all! I know I am in I claim it

Lcrown,

Ugh! For your sake I hope we get the decisions today too. How much is the deposit and for what program?

I'm rooting for you KimiOren2 you seem so passionate and from what I've experienced passionate people always get what they desire in the grand scheme of things. What specialty will you be getting into?

@lcrown the deposit is $500

@wellthen thanks on the comment my speciality is nurse anesthetic!

Why does everyone think it will be today? I've not received an email or anything saying that..

According to good source ( information session and emails )they only accept 5-10 people into that program. With that said I am still not discouraged just waiting patiently on my blessings:chicken:

We don't know anything you don't know, it's just wishful thinking.

In response to why some people are so sure decisions will be released today: Someone on this thread diligently stalked (using that word as a compliment!) past Columbia posts and looked at the decision release dates over the past 3-4 years. Historically, it has been Feb 6-7th time frame. Since accepted students visiting day is March 7th this year, it makes sense they would give us at least 30 days notice so those traveling from far away have sufficient time to plan their travel, etc.

hollysf...question for you since you went through this last year. Are the decisions available at the same the emails are sent out, or do the emails tell us when decisions will be available?

Thanks!
