Columbia BSN/MSN ETP 2014

I was surprised that there didn't seem to be a thread for this year's applicants to Columbia's ETP program. So I thought I would start one. The information session was today, but I wasn't able to go. :( I was hoping someone else went and would be able to post any admission statistics or tips for the personal statement they gave.

Hi MackLF, I applied to Pace for the January 2014 start and ended up getting wait listed because apparently the program filled up before I even submitted the application. Anyways, I ended up getting an interview and was given a spot for the Fall 2014 start and placed a deposit as a back up if i don't get into CUSON. If you're applying to Pace, I would say to get your app in ASAP to be on the safe side. Good Luck!!!

Sray09 - Thanks for that info. I did submit my application a few weeks ago and then I had to take it upon myself to see what else they needed from me (like LOR and transcripts, as the application mentioned none of this!!). They seem really disorganized and I am getting mixed responses. I was told I won't find out anyhting about a decision until April...does this seem right? I had talked to an advisor there last year and she explained this all to me very differently. I am concerned that my application is incomplete and may have fallen between the cracks there. The only way I can check the status of anyhting is by emailing and hoping someone responds. I am now nervous to attend there, should I get accepted.

Okay I'm finally starting to lose hope that we'll find out today. Gotta say though, I have checked my spam folder more this week than I have in my whole life combined.

I actually took my computer out with me today when I was running errands, and found interweb connections everywhere I went so I could check my email. I have NEVER done anything like that before. This is exhausting...

The decisions were given out on 2/6-2/7 the past few years

i hope they post the decisions tomorrow as opposed to next friday! getting a rejection letter on valentine's day would suck haha
