Hello everyone,
I hadn't seen a post for the upcoming application year for nursing at CBC, so figured I would get one started so that we could all go thru the anticipation/application process together lol!
Anyone care to share their index and TEAS scores?
It's my first time applying so I am so nervous and not sure what to expect.

Hi, I’m applying with an index score of 26.692. I’m really nervous, my goal was a 27??. I know last year the cutoff was right around 26.4 so I’m just barely above it eek... what is your index score, if you don’t mind sharing?

Hello, I just turned in my application last week. my index score is 27.055. This whole processes is so nerve raking. I haven't heard what very many people's index scores are. Hopefully the lowest scores aren't as high as last years.
Thats a solid index, good job! Did you apply anywhere else? I’m really hoping my index will be enough to get in! I’m so ready to start the program!!!

Hey there! I'm a freshman currently enrolled in CBC nursing :)
My index score was 26.6 (and I hadn't taken any other health science classes to get the 2 point bonus). I was wait listed in the 1-10 group, but got in. It sounds like only 2 people got off the wait list, so I was RIGHT on the cusp of the lowest scores last year. Everyone accepted last year was basically a full point higher than the average past year's scores.
Edit: Forgot to answer the second part of your question. My TEAS score was an 88.

My index score was 28.7 (TEAS score was 87.3%). I'm pretty confident I'll get in, but you never know!
Oh my gosh now I’m really nervous... I really hope my 26.6 is good enough...AHHH the anticipation. So the cutoff last year wasn’t 26.4 if faconersys had 26.6 and was waitlisted. Well, I guess I’m just going to have to wait and see and pray like heck I get in! Good luck everyone!

I just turned in my application. I have a 26.798 index score and scored 87.3 on the teas test. My advisor told me the lowest score to get in last year was a 26.3. It’s hard to say what the low will be this year. I could speculate based on previous years, but this year could be another record high minimum score for entrance.

I just saw this thread from last year.
Looks like Falconersys had a 26.375 not 26.6?. It looks like the lowest score to get a call from the waitlist had a 26.295.

I have only applied for the CBC program. Are you applying to more than one program?
No, just CBC for me too!
