Columbia basin college Nursing 2019

Hello everyone,

I hadn't seen a post for the upcoming application year for nursing at CBC, so figured I would get one started so that we could all go thru the anticipation/application process together lol!

Anyone care to share their index and TEAS scores?

It's my first time applying so I am so nervous and not sure what to expect.

Just FYI:

I seriously doubt that the program will be accepting more than about 50 students again, and I really, really doubt that they'd accept 65. Resources are already strained with the current class sizes. My instructor confirmed this. They may be accepting more students into their RN to BSN program next year (like, 10 more students), but even that would stretch the staffing even more thin.

Does anyone know with any certainty how many people will be accepted or all the numbers speculation at this point? I’ve seen 50, 58, and 65 now through these messages. Is there a number we could call to find out for sure?

Our class had 58 accepted. I would personally consider that the cut-off.

Yes. I’m just ready to know already. I wish they would email the same day they mail them out. Anything for a faster notification!

Oh my gosh I am super nervous. When I was checking my e-mail this morning I noticed 3 different replies from this page and my heart sank- I thought you all had your letters or something. Ahhh...I cannot wait, then I can start stressing about nursing school itself lol. Good Luck you guys!

The closer we get the more anxious I become ? I also have fears about them messing up my score. Just a couple more weeks (or sooner hopefully). ??

I'm paranoid they somehow lost my application!

I am so anxious! I have the same fears that something got messed up on my application...I pray they send them out next week!

I’ve got all the same fears, BUT, if you saved your receipt you can prove you turned in an application this year. And I’ve confirmed that you can double check your index score AFTER letters have been sent out if you feel there was a miscalculation.
