I am definitely overwhelmed... tried to see if anyone would mention from allnurses I did but no one responded. Hopefully can put faces to names on here soon. I still don't quite understand when to wear what. SO you are saying scrubs every day and on the days we go to class we can wear any colored scrubs or all white. That part threw me off.

Hi msqtsmith, I know the overwhelming feeling you all felt. you can wear any color scrubs everyday and they must be solid colored. They only time you are required to wear the Collin scubs is for clinicals and when you have a skills test which is usually 1 day every other week. There might be a day each week that you only have class and no lab, if thats the case, you can wear street clothes. I wear scrubs everyday just in case. Before we started clinicals, on Mondays we had class/lecture all day with no lab so many people wore street clothes, however, sometimes they open up the lab for us to use after our all day lecture class and for those that did not have scrubs, they weren't allowed in the lab.

I know this might be too much but could you do me a favor and give us a list of things we need to buy before school actually starts...like the things we might forget.. I remember hearing about a pen light? Stuff like that?

Sure, no problem at all! They told us that we needed a pen light, stethoscope, scissors compression stockings (just a suggestion) and a clipboard for clinicals. However, the pen light and clipboard won't be used until you start clinicals. A lot of people purchased the white coat clipboard because it has a lot of useful info and it folds. Yes, (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) said to wait for her email regarding Certified Background before we can upload the other forms. What I have done in the meantime is:

paid for my drug test;

ordered my uniforms and supplies bag;

ordered my stesthoscope;

and I'm in the process of ordering my books

Been searching for the books online to see if I can buy them separately, because when I checked at the book store the total package came up to $1176! Does anyone know if the Evolve Single Access code is sold with any of the textbooks or can you buy it separately?

Hey everyone!! I have been following this forum for a few months and finally decided to make a username. My name is Lindsey and like a few of you on here, I was also waitlisted for the summer 2016 program. Has anyone who has been accepted heard of anyone dropping or know of anyone who did drop the program? Anyone who applied for fall 2016 heard anything? I heard letters will be mailed next week so I am anxiously waiting for that to come in the mail! I am sick to my stomach and losing sleep over finding out results for the fall program! Haha a huge congrats to everyone who was accepted for the summer program!!! Good luck to all of you in the program and all of us waiting to hear for fall.

I have a forum for the fall with some great info.. With what pints did you enter with, PSB score, and did you repeat any classes?? Welcome hopefully we all hear great news!
