It feels like the ball has finally started rolling a little bit! Got the certified background email and made the $30 payment, but haven't recieved a code back yet for making an account. I think she said that might take 24-48hours?? Also ordered uniforms Wednesday and they arrived today! How's everyone else doing?

It was just a small regular envelope. So you won't really know until you open it.

Soo nervous!!! Still waiting for them to send the Fall letters out!! Thanks for the info :)

I think you are correct about receiving the code 24 to 48 hrs later.

That was quick for uniforms! Did you expedite them?

All I really have left to fork out money for is the textbooks... Biggest blow by far!

I think I will be swinging by the bookstore tomorrow to purchase them....

No, no expedite. I was really surprised since they said to expect it to be a couple of weeks! I'm trying to hold off on books because I have alot of them from a friend who graduated the program last year. So I'm hoping that maybe some of them will still work!

Yes was glad to see that email finally for certified background. Wow you got uniforms already I ordered mines Friday so guessing it will be here soon. That's a big difference from 3 to 4 weeks!

Hey guys! So, I got the email about finger printing but for some reason mine isn't going through and letting me make an appointment! I keeps saying I am not "eligible." So, I called the Igentigo people and they said we all have to go to the Texas Board of Nursing website and fill out a registration form before we can make an appointment... Ummmm.....I do not remember anything about them saying that at orientation! Am I crazy????? Did anyone else get an error message??

Hey holly! I was also wait listed for summer and got the same message. I tried a couple times and when I did my social it gave me the error page. Of course, I emailed (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) letting her know and immediately after tried it again and it worked. I emailed her again saying disregard the previous email. Lol I set up an appointment for tomorrow. Close out of the pages, reclick the link in the email and try it again. I tried at least five times and it finally worked.

thats weird...I have my Cna so that might be the only reason it worked...:/ sorry girl! I would call the nursing department tomorrow

I emailed (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) and she said she called the nursing board and they said it might take up to 24hours for our info to go through. So give it a day and try again tomorrow :)
