HEY Folks!!

Just wondering how many of you there are out there who have applied for the accelerated Summer ADN Program at Collin College! I have not seen anything posted on the web and I would love to get in touch with everyone!

Hey everyone!! I have been following this forum for a few months and finally decided to make a username. My name is Lindsey and like a few of you on here, I was also waitlisted for the summer 2016 program. Has anyone who has been accepted heard of anyone dropping or know of anyone who did drop the program? Anyone who applied for fall 2016 heard anything? I heard letters will be mailed next week so I am anxiously waiting for that to come in the mail! I am sick to my stomach and losing sleep over finding out results for the fall program! :( Haha a huge congrats to everyone who was accepted for the summer program!!! Good luck to all of you in the program and all of us waiting to hear for fall.

What was your experience like on the waitlist? Nerve racking? Did you ever find out what number you were on the list? Did you decline to wait for summer entry or did a spot never open up? Sorry for all the questions! :)

hey Claire! I also got waitlisted for summer 16. Have you heard anything yet or been offered a spot in the program? My anxiety has been through the roof!! Did you also apply for fall?

Thank you!! I called and asked. Same with summer applications, I called multiple times and was told later dates each time so this might be the same situation but I am hoping to hear something soon! Were you accepted for the summer program or just apply for fall? I'll come join that forum. Thanks!

Yes I have done all those things plus ordered my planner and rolling backpack, pen light, watch etc. All set just waiting on Cathleen at this point. I won't order my books until my financial aid post on May 2nd. Luckily I took Spring semester off so they pushed my aid to maymester. I rather order from somewhere else and pay expedited fee will still save $100s instead of ordering from school.

I agree with you on the books. They are way too expensive at the book store.

Hello everyone, my name is Tiffany and I applied for Fall 2016 as well. I took my PSB on January 27th and got a 6. Im not sure how many points I have out of the 34, but I have a B in A&P I, A in A&P II, and A in Micro. And all A's in english, general psychology, life-span, and humanities.

What are y'all going to since fall registration starts tomorrow and we don't know if we are accepted into the program yet... I still have to take Chemistry for my bachelors, so if I don't get into the program I will take chem over the fall. I am taking nutrition over this summer. What are y'all doing about work? I am 20 years old, living in an apartment and have car payments, so I have no choice. Over the summer I plan to work a lot and save enough money for the program and hopefully rent and bills for a couple months so I am not stressing during the first semester.

Other than that good luck to you all and I hope to meet you all soon enough!

It was just a small regular envelope. So you won't really know until you open it.
