Collin College Fall 2011

Published

Hello

I was just wondering who else is applying for the Fall 2011 start at Collin County in McKinney! Do you guys know how many applied & what the minimum amount of points was for the last term? What are your stats? (if you don't mind sharing!) Are you applying anywhere else? What school is your first choice?

I have 14 points. I am applying without one pre-req and received 6 points from the PSB. If I don't get accepted this time, I am hopeful for Spring 2012!

Good luck to everyone!

P.S. If anyone who is in the program or been in the program, has any tips to share, that would be great!!

CollinNursing2013, Do not feel like a terrible Mother for asking your mother to help with your child while you get an education to not only offer you a better life but, your child as well. Please don't see it as "giving" your child up. You are getting much needed family support while you work toward a better future for yourself and your child.

My child lived with my sister when I was in LVN school. It was hard but I woke up everyday knowing that it was temporary and in the end, I could take care of my child on my own. Hang in there and stop beating yourself up! I admire your decision.

Hi, if you don't mind me asking which scholarship you got?? I have been having a hard time finding one!

I got a letter today and received a scholarship!!!

Several of us received scholarships through Collin's foundation. I think the applications are still open for next year. Look on Collin.edu under the foundation tab and there is a link to apply.

Thank you so much!
