Collin College Fall 2015 ADN

Hello everyone! I was looking for a thread for Fall 2015 for Collin, and didn't see one, so if there already is one, please share the link. Otherwise, welcome to this thread! I am a pre-nursing student and I am about to take the PSB and put in my application for Fall. Who's with me?

I am super nervous, but so very ready to get going with it.

:( Thanks for your response its just tooken me so long to get to this point I have a 3year old and 2 year old and one month old so I've been working on my prereqs for a while! and I'm almost done as Im taking summer class and a class in the fall to complete and I was totally bummed out when I saw the point system change

I found the psych online honors class to be pretty easy. I didn't spend too much time on it and still made an A. I highly recommend it to at least get in one point. The teachers initials are M.R. However- you are facing a similar situation as a lot of pther people. The honors points will start coming into play more as time progresses. I'm not sure it was a big deal yet this round. So my advice is: take honors psych online if possible. If not- try not to worry too much yet. I was afraid I wouldn't get in because I'm currently taking micro but I still made it.

Has anyone heard anything about the finger printing yet?

I called them on Monday or so, and they said that they expect to email that stuff out in about a week.

Am I the only one that is ridiculously excited about orientation?

I am, that's for sure. I'm just ready to start and be done with it, it's been a long time coming.

Hmmmm..... didn't get the email about the fast pass? I did receive the one about the t-shirts. I would think they would send the emails as a mass sending?

I would think so too, but one of my friends didn't get her email today either, and no one that I know that did get it is able to get it to work yet anyway. (including me)

Bridge students - did you get the email regarding the uniforms? How many pairs do you think we need? Do you think we need to order extra badges?

Has anyone received the email to do finger printing yet? I was wait listed so I am not getting all the other emails you girls are getting but I am supposed to be getting one for fingerprinting. If you guys can keep me in the loop I would appreciate it!

And on that note... do you guys know of anyone that is turning down Collin that did get accepted? :)
