Collin College Fall 2015 ADN

Hello everyone! I was looking for a thread for Fall 2015 for Collin, and didn't see one, so if there already is one, please share the link. Otherwise, welcome to this thread! I am a pre-nursing student and I am about to take the PSB and put in my application for Fall. Who's with me?

I am super nervous, but so very ready to get going with it.

Hey I've applied for Fall 2015. How many points do you think you have at the moment? I'm finishing up the semester with all A's for my pre reqs and a previous bachelors degree in business. I live in Collin county and haven't taken any of the Honors courses. I think I'm going to end up with 30/34 points (hopefully).

Hey guys !

ill also be applying for fall 2015...taking the psb in a week! How was it? I live in collin county also and I'll hopefully be finishing this semester with 30/34 points and all prereqs completed. Yeah I was really worried about not having taken any honors classes too...:(...plus I reetook a class for an A soo idk if that will adversely affect anything...

Just so anxious about it :(

I'm taking my PSB on the 16th, so I am unsure about those points for now, but I have 24 as I stand. Hopefully that will turn into 30 after the PSB. I have a 4.0 in my pre-reqs, but I haven't taken micro yet. I am enrolled for that one this spring. I made that point up by taking an honors class though. I'm so glad that you guys commented!

Oh, and I do not live in Collin county, and I have a BA in counseling from back in 2000.

PSB wasn't really that hard. Just need to focus on the reading comprehension section because that's all that really matters in the end (gets you that 6th pt if you make over 70%)

Are you guys applying to any other nursing schools as backup?

No Im not core complete yet so I haven't applied to any other schools..if I don't get in to this program I'm planning on applying to TWU once I finish all the core classes...

what about you guys?

Hey guys! I'm planning on taking the PSB on the 29th. Has anyone taken it yet? I've been stalking a few posts and saw that students were being accepted with points around 29 and up for Spring 2015. Trying to stay positive, but I feel like I won't make the cut for fall. 😩 but I'm just going to apply and pray for a miracle. Haha! Well, good luck everyone!!

hi guys! I'm planning on applying for collin county nursing program, anyone know the number of points I need? and does having BSN prereq's give extra points? I know at el centro it does.

Ausdev - My backup is probably NCTC, but I'm not going to consider it until I get through this round for Collin and see how it goes.
