College of the Mainland ADN Fall 2017

Hi everyone. I haven't found a forum out there for COM Fall 2017. I recently found out about the school and will be turning in my application for the deadline. Anyone else out there ? :)

It's on the main college of the mainland home page and scroll down to the icons on the bottom

Where they have webadvisor you'll see outlook 365 I think that's your email where you log in using what your user name and the password you use to log in to webadvisor

Hey it's on the nursing website it says there under review right now and will take 2-3 weeks and we should check webadvisor in that week here's the link ADN Pre-licensure Track

I try to play it cool but I seem to check my email and WebAdvisor a few times a day..lol.. after looking through the thread for Fall 2016 I noticed people got a response withing 2 weeks with the alternates the beginning of June. I notices a person that was 2nd in the alternates list got in and her score was 728. Just some info I found. COM responds quickly in comparison to other schools. They seem to be straight forward. I wish everyone (including myself) the best of luck. If I make it in I look forward to being close with all of you.

Once everyone is accepted we could make a Facebook group for all the nursing students if there isn't one already.

Sounds great. I'm excited, confused and intrigued about this program. I heard there's online lectures and online classes. It seems convinient but I need class time. My biggest downfall is procrastination.

I was thinking about the whole ranking process. I do believe they already know who gets in automatically based on their ranking score but I suppose they need to make us wait in order to be in close proximity to other schools. I suppose they don't want people to accept than change their minds if they get accepted somewhere else. Just a thought

Yes true. It seems this application period a lot of them will be coming out around the same time. For fall UThealth they'll send out acceptances June 1st, Alvin said in 2 weeks so around the same time frame. College of the mainland 2 weeks after that.........

Hey everyone, I know I'm really late to the party but I'm an applicant at c.o.m Adn program as well and I'm also hoping I get in. I applied to Alvin and sanjac as well. It seems like there are not too many males in these forums but you guys have been really informative. Based on past forums it seems like ppl with total scored of as low as 734 have gotten in, I made a 376 on my reading tsi and I'm hoping with that my total score will be enough to get me in, I wish u all the best of luck.
