Hello! Anyone applying to College of the Canyons for Spring 2019? Let's update each other. Anyone know the points needed to get in? Good luck everyone.

It was okay...keeping fingers crossed!!!

*fingers crossed* everyone. I'm betting you all did great!!

77.3 s my score?

When do you guys get your results? That's weird that they didn't give them to you directly after.

I just got mine, it's 77.3 I dunno if it's good enough?

Great score! !! I think you'll get in. Congratulations!

That's 25 points! I would say YES! !! that's very good lol :)

hopefulkim what have you gotten on your teas? the deadline is today, you took it elsewhere?

I'm so nervous about my stats because of my overall GPA, it's only a 3.3, so I am hoping my bio and TEAS will make me competitive enough. Here's to the next few weeks passing quickly!

I think if you got the 65 points you should be in! Keep your fingers crossed, I believe you will be successful!

I am embarrassed to say I wasn't successful with the TEAS, I let my anxiety get the best of me. If anyone has any good advice on how to prepare for the TEAS to score a 70 or higher, I would love it. I'll be ready for Fall application cycle.

Watch Youtube videos for the math portion. Keshwani Prep's videos were a great refresher for me. Also listen to podcasts for the science part. I reccommend "Understanding Anatomy and Physiology Study Group Podcast" by F.A. Davis. It's a group of friends who meet up and go over different A&P chapters (great to listen to while you drive!). Unfortunately I believe COC only takes your first attempted score, but either way those are some other good study resources.

Thank you very much for the advice! Good luck this app cycle. You will do well! :-)
