College of the canyons Spring 2019-COC 2019 Applicants

Hello! Anyone applying to College of the Canyons for Spring 2019? Let's update each other. Anyone know the points needed to get in? Good luck everyone.

I think the 70 points is the Chancellor's cut score minimum. Not total multi criteria points. In past forums people have been accepted with 62. Don't lose hope until you have an email confirming. Stay optimistic! Good luck and good vibes! =)

I called too and was told this. Everyone you'll be fine!

I got an 82 on teas but my science gpa is only 3.0 and I think I only have 58 points! Trying to stay hopeful :( lol

Ah me too! My science s 3.0 and I got 77 ...plus I called and was told my teas is on the lower end which kinda made me sad :(

It breaks my heart to see my fellow future nurses so doubtful. We have all worked so hard to get to this point... A point that seemed so far away during our 10000 prerequisites. We made it through physiology for heaven's sake lol!! Don't worry about something we have zero control over. Even if you think your score is "low", they pick a bunch of alternates because a lot of people who are accepted decline as other acceptances come rolling in. COC is the earliest to advise of acceptance that I know of, so DON'T LOSE HOPE! Be proud we've made it this far.. A lot of people's journeys were cut short the day we wrote the TEAS because they didn't pass. Huge virtual hug to everyone and we're all in it together. Look at what you've accomplished thus far and be proud =)

The wait is rough! Has anyone called the office to see when we can expect the emails? I know the website says the 20th-31st, just hoping it is sooner.

Im confused, during the TEAS test the advisor said that the emails would be sent out from the 15-30th of october, but online it says 20-30th. Has anyone called ,and knows what are the correct dates?
