Does anyone know how soon and how long it takes for cocaine to show up on a uds after it's used and how long it will show up on one, i.e. it will continue to show up 1 day or 1 week or 1 month after it's used?
:chuckle A correctional officer told my nurse friend that if you drink lots and lots of orange juice you can get a negative drug screen. I don't know if that's true or not but my nurse friend and I sure had a lot of fun teasing each other about being sure to drink a lot of orange juice before coming into work. :rotfl:

I personally don't use cocaine. I would NOT trust OJ with my career
Welcome to allnurses.com.
Here is all I can say: My next stop would be to a nurse attorney's office for advice----and dealing with your state/provincial BON.
These sorts of threads have a history of being loaded with misinformation and even people making claims/statements/recommendations on how to "beat drug tests". This is not the venue for these things.
I again recommend anyone facing such troubles seek legal advice from a qualified counselor/attorney as soon as possible. Best wishes.

Well I was going by what you said, "Unless they check your hair" Then "anything you've done in the past 6 or so months shows up "
I think I misunderstood what you were trying to say, I thought you were trying to say a UDS can detect things up to six months.
UDS or Blood Tox screen does now show any drug if you last used it 6 months ago.
