CNA's what state are you in and what salary? thanks
I don't work @ that facility anymore & wouldn't recommend my worst enemy to work @ that place haha. The facility was in Anne Arundel County though. It really depends, some LTC's that I went to when I first got my GNA certification would not hire me b/c I did not have experience. I've been a GNA for almost two years now though, and its really easy to find a job now..but starting out, it is sort of hard. What county do you live in? I could recommend some facilities to you.
I would to work in Anne Arundel County since that is where I am from but I will settle for anywhere in Baltimore County and City. Howard and Harford county are a stretch but if I must make the trip for decent pay and a nice facility then I will. I don't need to make $15/hr but around 11 or 12 would be nice.

I am working in Howard County now..its kinda far but the pay is much better than PG & AAC..there are some facilities in AA that are okay..Genesis Healthcare has facilities in Severna Park & Annapolis which I hear are quite nice.
In CA, Kern county$10.77 c/ no exp.
+10% for noc shift dif. (so about $11.84/hr)
no weekend dif.. which sucks cause i work Fri-Sat-Sun every week >.
free health insurance though, and it's pretty good too :)
I've been here a year now and should get my raise pending my upcoming eval. :w00t:(yearly raises.. ugh)
Do you mind telling me where this place is? I leave near by.And currently looking for a job.
you can email me if you like [email protected] Thanks!
Oregon- Hospital CNA2: 13.10/hr. starting wageWhen I worked at an LTC facility I made 10.25/hr.
Awesome to see another Oregonian in here. :) I'm a CNA2 as well.
I currently work as a caregiver, so I make less per hour than I did as a CNA2 at my last job but I'm a lot happier and I still make more overall because I get more hours. As a CNA2 in a ALF I was making $11.75.
