What kind of clinical schedules does everyone have? Im in my first semester so its only 7:30 to 12:30 Tues and Wed. We start clinicals end of March. This summer we start our 8 hour clinicals (6:30 to 2:30 I think) until our last semester when we have 12 hour clinicals.

My first clinical will start this April on Fridays 6:30-2:30, no summer clinicals then in August-May I will have regular clinicals on Wed & Thurs from 7-3:00 :rolleyes:

Tuesdays and Wednesdays, 0645-1245.

I have clinicals tues and wed 3pm-9:30pm on a cardiac/respiratory floor

Wow! 12-hour clinicals! While very long, you probably won't shock your system as much as some of us who are doing clinicals for half that time.

We start ours in April, we have 4 total, one each week - all are 12 hour days and we've been warned already, 2 of the 4 clinical instructors start at 5 a.m.!!!

After this semester we have clinicals 1 day a week, 12 hour days for the remainder of the program. Clinical days are usually Wed. or Thurs.

Doing Thursdays, 7:30a-7:30p, this semester.

Specializes in ICU, Research, Corrections.

Semester 1 - 13 hours once a week (one hour for lunch)

Semester 2 - the same

I am currently in semester 3 and have Mon and Tues 8 hour days. All I my clinicals have started at the god awful time of 6:30 AM. And with an hour of travel to a clinical site you really have to get up early. :angryfire

2nd semester, BSN program

We have clinical 2 weeks out of each month. Times vary, but we spend 24h/week... L&D/PP rotations are 12h shifts, med surg are 8h shifts, peds are 9h afternoon shifts. :)
