I am wondering if any other nursing students are being assigned clinical rotations on a COVID floor, with out being fit tested for N95s?
Yes. I’m sure. But not everyone learns well in a situation where they are under threat all the time. The latest from this faculty was that maybe they should have music playing and multiple loud conversations going on while the students take the exams which are all NCLEX questions because after all that type of distraction is what nurses deal with.
Nursing students are required to complete a minimum amount of clinical time. Clinical sites don't have much leeway to add available time to accommodate for changes in schedules, nor do instructors. It just may not be possible to find extra clinical time. It sucks, but schools are often at the mercy of the clinical sites.
Perhaps students can return the next quarter to finish clinical hours in order to graduate?

This is how it is I'm sure with most nursing schools. They don't have your back if you get sick.

Why would they punish? So you are supposed to go to clinical sick with COVID?
