Back in nursing school it was my "game face". Apparently I wear my emotions all over my face🤔

Critical thinking, which means to be able to answer any question at all r/t my pts diagnosis, meds, labs, discharge and teaching.
I can answer basics, but my instructors desire for us to "dig deeper"
That's a tough one for me. I can answer most questions r/t pt care, and basic MOA and basic pt teaching.
However, we are expected to be able to explain anything and everything, even things addressed by the staff nurse, MD, etc.

correctly documenting on the flow sheet (which is like a check off list of things to do for the patient, like call bell within reach, turned in bed, etc..), sometimes i would forget to do it for an hour (must be done hourly during your shift) or so and would have to go back through and complete it.

One of my instructors asked me if I played poker. I replied "No I never played, nor do I know how to play" Then she preceded to tell me she can tell because everything I be thinking be written all over my face. She told me I had to work on my "poker face". When she told me that I immediately started singing poker face by Lady Gaga to myself in my head. HAHAHA
but that's not the first time I have been told that. My best friend would tell me all the time to "fix my face" because apparently my facial expressions says it all.
........... I'm working on it.
