Clayton State vs Mercer

U.S.A. Georgia

Published

Hi,

I have been accepted at Ga Baptist (Mercer) and am waiting to hear from Clayton State University. Any thoughts on which school would prepare me better? Ga Baptist will take 6 semesters, Clayton only 4 (I am a 2nd degree student), and tuition is less at Clayton, but do Ga Baptist grads really get better jobs right after graduation as they claim? Thanks

Good luck LilQueenCMA. I hope you pass with flying colors and csweetooth, I hope that you find an online nutrition class. I think that the one at Clayton State is filled but you can get on the waiting list. Good luck!

All work is done online. There are three campus meetings for orientation, midterm and final.

hello, does anyone know if GBCN requires the HESI exit exam, because CSU requires it before you can even graduate and they told me you can only fail it once, and wont be able to sit for the NCLEX, i really wanted to apply to mercer and clayton, however since i heard about this HESI crap i might not now, Please let me know if GBCN requires an exit exam.

thanks

hello, how can i get info for those forgivable loans, please let me know, by the way do you know how yrs you have to work in ga, inorder to cancel your loans,

thanks

gbcn takes the net test. they are a great school if u can afford it =)

They have switched to the TEAS, do they still allow you to submit the NET? Anyone take the TEAS for Mercer and or clayton?

Well the teas and all the rest is a entrance exam, their is also an exit exam required after you finsh the program, however before you can graduate is where an exam called the HESI must be taken in order to get a BSN/ and even sit for the NCLEX exam. my freind went to clayton and said when she was about to graduate the nursing students were told they must take the "HESI" before they can graduate, all the students were like,,ummmm,,, how come we were never told about this exam, and the faculty just said well now you know, they were ******, they only had 1 week to study. well i called clayton, and they said they do have this "exit exam" and its called ati or some crap, my point is, does mercer have an exit exam,, i know they have the TEAS to get IN the program, but how about an EXIT.

thanks yall,,
