Has anyone accepted to CCC yet? Did they acknowledge receiving your letter of intent?

I'm getting ready to decline OHSU and send in my letter of intent for CCC. What a happy surprise their email was! Congratulations to those of you already accepted. I'm crossing my fingers for everyone on the waitlist! I'm excited to meet you all at orientation!

Hello all! I have been a long time lurker on these boards throughout the application process, but am finally making my first post. I sent in my statement of intent to CCC accepting my position mid last week. I did not receive any confirmation of receipt, but I plan on sending them an e-mail just to make sure early next week. SO EXCITED! Look forward to meeting some of you at the orientation on the 29th!

Congratulations to everyone who was accepted! I graduated from CCC in 2011 and I can't say enough about the program and the amazing instructors there. It really helped prepare me to think critically, question, and put my patients first. You will learn so much about yourselves, your communities, and your future patients.

For anyone on the wait list, one of my classmates was actually accepted into the program 3 days before classes started! So you never know what will happen.

I did. I don't live in the area and decided to send my letter via priority mail so that I'd have a tracking number and wouldn't have to worry about whether it arrived.

lol @ T1meK1ller, I guess thats one way to receive confirmation... I meant like did anyone get an email from them saying "letter received" or "got it" in the sense that it would suck to arrive at orientation and find out you were disqualified because they happen to "misplace it" before it reached the proper individual... especially considering how far we've all gone to get to this point.

I couldn't help myself :) This probably doesn't help, but I'll tell you anyway, just in case. My confirmation slip arrived in the mail yesterday, or the day before.

I think you could start a Facebook group. I'm sure that there will be folks who end up leaving/joining for various reasons, so maybe others can weigh in on whether they think it should be an open or closed group for now versus when the term actually starts.

I just received an email of acceptance! I was on the wait list previously, so excited to meet everyone at the mandatory meeting!
